The Ultimate Videography Resources

5 mins read

As many of you know as well as photography I also teach film and animation in Northern Ireland. The film industry has changed massively over the last year.

While you may be getting used to the masks and excessive use of hand sanitiser, filming during a crisis looks a lot different for many of us. Well, I’ve got 3 tips that are going to help you make the most of this time and advance your art, and I’ll expose that one thing that is holding most video creators back!

3 TIPS FOR CREATING VIDEO DURING A CRISIS

1.) You probably have a little extra time on your hands, so spend it ensuring your final product is of the highest quality. Whether you are producing a commercial, embarking on your first big film, capturing footage for a documentary, or even hosting a live experience on social media, your intended audience won’t hold interest long if the piece lacks quality.

2.) I probably don’t need to lecture you on the importance of planning ahead, but now there is even more to consider during preproduction. Here are a couple of them:

· There may be new restrictions at and between shoot locations, so do your research and pay special attention when scouting.

· Be respectful of your subjects. Different people have different concerns and beliefs when it comes to safety measures. Make sure you are providing ample distance for subjects, ensure only essential personnel are on set, and bring extra masks and hand sanitizer, just in case.

3.) In the beginning, most video creators spend the bulk of their time learning new tricks and techniques, pining over educational resources that will turn them into the creative they aspire to be. Somewhere along the lines, though, most of those individuals stop seeking new knowledge. Despite the rapidly changing technology and trends, they just stop, and then their work becomes obsolete. So the final tip I am going to provide today is this: NEVER STOP LEARNING.

While this global pandemic may have taken much from us, one benefit is that online learning is at an all-time high! More resources are available to us than ever before, and the quality of these learning resources is astonishing—never before have we seen online education this thorough, and for the next 5 days, it’s affordable too! https://www.flixelpix.com/5daydealvideo

Get the resource bundle made just for video creatives, like you, for just $89! I have worked with the team at 5DayDeal in the past and they understand the importance of quality education and they made it their mission to find world-class educators and tools so that those who want to continue the growth of their art or career, can do so at a price that is affordable. The Video Creators Bundles are available right now and the price starts at just $89, but only for 5 days.

The resources come from top brands, successful business owners, and industry experts who really ‘get it’. They are very familiar with the challenges video creators face at every stage and have developed resources to get youto where you want to be faster and with less of a struggle.

With 3 bundle options and nearly 35 products in total, including Film Pac HD and Film Pac 4K if you opt for the complete bundle. If you are a fan of colour correction then there are enough LUT files in the bundle for years of video products.

The sale ends June 8th at 12:00 PM Pacific (3:00 Eastern). That means, if you miss out, it will be at least another year before you have the chance to get another video bundle this prolific.

In addition to recommending the 5DayDeal Video bundle I am offering 50% off everything on the FlixelPix store for 5 days. Use the code ‘bonus’ at checkout.
