Belfast’s own Brian Houston performed to a completely sold out Grand Opera House on Wednesday 16th February.
Supported by the Harmony Angels and the Belfast Community Gospel Choir Brian treated the audience to a polished performance of his epic catalogue interspersed with humour and interaction.
Described as “a tunesmith, a poet, a bard and a comedian, Brian knows how to hold an audience in his hands and reach into your soul to touch memories long buried and dreams once forgotten.” Brian paid testament to such a catalogue of compliments.
I have listened to Brian for a number of years and although I respect his song writing ability the Grand Opera House gig opened my eyes to a remarkable guitarist. A subtle, melodic soloist, it was clear Brian was enjoying every minute and the crowd frankly, loved it.
