I have been working on a preset to use alongside X100F jpg images. I have been shooting 100% JPG on the Fujifilm X100F awaiting for X100F Lightroom support. Interestingly the experience has been quite liberating and the combination of film simulations and digital teleconverter has offered a great photographic experience. I wanted to push things further and create a free moody lightroom preset.
The Lightroom Preset – Forgiveness X100 seeks to add a little bit of moody drama to landscape JPG files. This image was shot on a winter’s evening in the Mourne Mountains on a return from Slieve Binnian. The photo features two climbers, and I captured the image as a quick snapshot. You can see the original was rather cold in nature.
Like any preset ‘Forgiveness X100’ should be used as a starting point, sliders worth playing with – contrast, blacks and shadows. A maximum clarity of +10 is recommended and you may wish to darken the blacks slightly.
