First Snow of 09

This morning saw a blanket of thick snow across the fields where we live. Roads were just about passable and those who ventured out in their cars provided no end of entertainment as they attempted to make it up the hill.

This photo doesn’t do the view of the Lagan justice, the mix of snow and sun created a stunning image across the fields and river.

It is ironic that we only see flooding or heavy snow around here at the weekends but lets up we see a few more snow showers this week.
