With hair I can only dream about Karima Francis shared the stage with Nik Kershaw and Kyle Suckling performing breath-taking renditions of songs from her album “Author“.
Karima has a strong hold voice, pitch perfect and pure she performs from the heart and the emotion caries across in each song.
Featured on ‘Later with Jools Holland’ she was named by The Observer as the number 1 act to watch in 2009. After performing at Manchester’s In The City she was signed by independent record company Kitchenware Records. Karima performed a number of songs written since the release of Author and it is clear Karima Francis is going to be name we are going to hear more of in the very near future.
Donning only an Avalon guitar Karima filled the packed Black Box, by their own admission both Nik Kershaw and Kyle John Suckling were blown away by her performance.
Karima was so taken by the Avalon guitars range she spent the afternoon in the factory specing her own custom built instrument. Regardless of your musical taste Karima Francis is definitely worth checking out.
