In Praise of 50mm

To date I have had fourteen photographs included in the Flickr Explore feature. I recently listed the current state of play here. It became quickly apparent that I have the most flickr success using the Canon 50mm lens at f1.4.

The vintage car photo (above) was not only featured on flickr explore but also in the explore front page. A throw away photo at a local vintage car gathering it made its way on to flickr as an after thought.

I have used the great little SuprSetr app to create a top fifty for fifty set. Basically it is my most popular 50mm lens photographs currently on flickr. You can view the full set here, note it changes every few days as the popularity of each item changes.
