First Signs of Autumn

Venturing out with the full frame 5DMKII I decided to take a walk along Lough Neagh and grab some photos of the various jetties in different levels of decay. It is pretty impossible to identify the season from the weather.

A summer of rain, a winter of sun and for the 11th September there as a rich autumn feel to the colours of leaves, berries and trees.

Using a 50mm F1.4 lens I tried to get as close to the subject but controlling the depth of field at f1.4 is a challenge I haven’t yet mastered.

There are a few more Autumn and Winter photos in a dedicated set on Flickr. Click here.
