My love for the Fujifilm X100 isn’t a surprise to many of you over the five months I have been using the camera yet surprisingly have only published around 200 photos.  The X100 has taken a little bit of getting used to but the learning process has been an enjoyable challenge.

Having now finally tamed this quirky little camera I thought I’d post my first 30 images.

The Fuji X100 is the perfect, quality carry around camera.

  1. amazing set of shots…
my favorite is the third-one, so emotionally real…
    many many thanks for sharing.

  2. I’ve been debating whether or not to get this camera as I’m a bit bored of lugging the 5D Mk I around when I want to do some shooting, I think you may have just convinced me…lovely images.

  3. These are some great pictures, thanks for showing what can be done with this camera. I am patiently waiting for the next iteration of this camera with the new sensor and interchangeable lenses. I like the photo with the locks on the fence.

  4. Great shots, they’ve made my mind up for me. Gotta have one.
“Focusing”, “menu madness”, “dodgy battery/card door”, “iso trickery”, blah, blah.
How does it work and feel out and about. ?

    Again great photos.

  5. I guess I was lucky coming at the X100 (and photography) from, pretty much, a “clean slate” with no prior camera experience. I din’t find the X100 a problem to use, on the whole (main gripe is the stupid battery indicator). I have certainly been very happy with the images it takes

Being able to get decent images in dark interiors, handheld, was why I went for it in the first place, and it hasn’t let me down.
