I found an old pile of chains on a beach recently. Despite the rust they were still in perfect order, too heavy to be washed ashore but that is where they ended up.
A follow on photo from our first painting with light experiment (Peace). This photo uses the same technique but a different coloured filter to achieve the two tone effect. This photo was created based on a tutorial on the DPS website.
I have been trying to experiment with using manual mode to have a mix of movement and stationary objects. The results have been particularly poor.
There is something challenging yet satisfying about working in macro. This surface splash was captured by accident, there is a sense of depth (of the liquid) that really isn't actually there. Frozen time.
