The last in a series of Lightroom Presets that I have aptly named ‘Binnian’. This Lightroom preset aims to add drama to winter landscape images by enhancing the detail to the shadow and muting the colour and highlights. I tend to under expose my winter landscape photos to ensure the detail in the shadows is maintained. This preset goes in some way to rescue the over exposure images that perhaps lack detail (see below).
Like all Adobe Lightroom Presets the adjustment impact will depend on the original unique image. Consider this Lightroom preset a starting point to your moody, dramatic landscape images, worth with the exposure, shadow and highlight sliders to adjust the levels of drama.
To install Lightroom presets, unzip the preset once downloaded and in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, load up the Develop Module, then right click on the folder titles in the Preset list and select ‘import’. Find the preset you want to import and Lightroom will do the rest. I have been using this on Fujifilm RAW files from both the X-Pro2 and X100T over the last few months.
