I started to use Adobe Lightroom 2 last summer and although my use was mostly for post production after a few months it became the centre of my photographic workflow. The change over will definitely be progressive as I still have around five years worth of images in iPhoto and I just can’t face transferring these hundreds of photos to Lightroom.

Tonight as I hunting my way through the iPhoto library for a particular photo I discovered the first image I captured with the Canon 500D last June. There is just something about it that I liked so it was quickly promoted to my Lightroom library.
