Forgotten Telephone Box

Forgotten Telephone Box

Every so often I come across an old style BT phone box out on a country road. Surprisingly they always have a working telephone and more recently a sign explaining it was an ‘offence to smoke in this building’.

This particular phone box is disintegrating day by day. The door is light as the wood is dry and each flake of paint hold delicately to the surface.

I guess like the photos of this old home and the Friends’ Meeting House this phone box won’t be here for very much longer. A few more phone box photos on flickr some with a little post production.

  1. This is absolutely incredible…both photos. I’ve always had a thing for those old phone booths anyway, but your processing makes it even better.

  2. Thats really nice… great treatment of the colours
