Evening Water Walk

Evening Water Walk

It is amazing the tones winter light can create in late evening. This is the view across a very still area of river called “Broadwater”. There was complete silence and even the swans glided without a sound.

Most striking was the rate at which the light changed from strong blues to deep red in minutes. I have six photos taken within a few minutes of each other and it would be easy to believe they were taken months apart. I have tweaked the photo a little in lightroom 2  but the natural tones were stunning.

I took this photos of swans in the same location last month.
