Nashville Songwriters Festival

February is a busy time for Belfast music, 5 days, 42 concerts performed by over 150 artists sees the return of the Nashville Songwriters Festival. Not many people know that Nashville is the sister city of Belfast and the songwriting festival is just one way our heritage is shared with probably most famous ‘music cities’ in the world.

Friday saw Kyle John Suckling taking to the stage in the Duke of York, a night of polished acoustic performance, a photographers dream other than the fact it is in near darkness.

The 50mm f1.4 came to my rescue, the only lens fast enough to freeze the action even from the front row of the audience.
