Frozen Heart

December 24, 2009  |  , , ,  |

Another freezing day offered a quick visit to the garden to capture some of the frozen spider’s webs that lay within. I managed to take around a dozen photographs of completely random items.

It was interesting to revisit my love of clothes pegs from the summer (they made easy macro subjects). The warm peg in this photo has fallen on harder times (see here).

It is amazing just how different everything looks in winter light and coated in ice. I never thought I would see the day I would be taking photos of clothes lines and pegs. The final photo of the post has to be the cliched iced spider’s web, so here it is :

A really pleasing start to a very cold Christmas Eve.

  3. Amazing Shots! Happy Holidays!!! :)

  4. The best photos are ones like these especially when nature is part of the beauty captured on camera. Excellent shots, inspirational to have taken these in the garden. They are artistic & show perfect detail of snow/ice patterns.
