This photo was taken of an old traditional exam desk with an ultra modern inkwell to the top right. The ink well isn’t visible in this landscape version of the photo. It is amazing what people write in that tense period between finishing an exam and the “pens down” announcement.
There is something illuminating about yellow on black even when shooting on mono. This photo was taken as the flower began to close up for the night. I love the detail a macro lens offers.
